Trying out a new toy

Helllloooo!  I am bringing you another vlog on my YouTube channel!  Not sure how you’ll feel about it, but the main goal of this vlog is to try out a new set up with part of a toy that I’m playing with for work.

So, my supervisor met a guy that is doing some mapping things and pairing a narrative to the gps locations of different areas.  So, we are trying it out to see if this software can be beneficial to the lives of those living with spinal cord injuries.

And I am the test dummy

So, my role in this, aside from being a research coordinator is to record pilot data to see how we can best use this software to enhance the quality of life of those with spinal cord injuries.  Collecting this pilot data requires me to put a camera on my wheelchair and record “walking” around my neighborhood and explain some things. So, my thought was to take MY camera and mount it on my chair to do some vlogging that way.

This video tests that out.  So please leave me some feedback on how you like (or don’t like) this mounting set up.  I do have some other ideas of how to incorporate this set up in future videos, but if you don’t like it, then I can create other content.

Let me know!!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video.  As always, leave me some feedback either here – below this post, e-mail me (megs@thewheellifeblog.com), or on any of my social media platforms! (FB/IG/TW @wheellifeblog and Snapchat @megsh8).  I would love to hear from you and what I can do to help. If there is ANYTHING that you want to hear about – please let me know!  I can’t do any of this without YOU, so I would love to connect with you!

Let’s keep those happy thoughts, productivity and self-care going!  Unit next time, live honestly, passionately, and with kindness!
