A Night of Trivia Fundraiser

Dealing with a disability, coping with a disability, and overcoming a disability carry significant financial implications for our community. United Spinal Association Northeast Ohio Chapter is committed to fulfilling our mission at NO CHARGE to our SCI community. We have received transactional grants over the years to fund our chapter and programs, but it’s time for our annual fundraiser in order to sustain these programs and services.

I’ve been proudly serving the United Spinal Association Northeast Ohio Chapter for the past 7+ years.  We implemented a Trivia Fundraiser four years ago to fund our services and programs.  We look forward to this year’s event on Saturday, November 18, 2023.  All of the details are in the blog post for this week.  

Putting together an event is tough, and you must stay organized to ensure that all the little details get planned and then executed. I couldn’t have done this without the help of the Planning Committee.  We each have our strengths and utilize those strengths for the betterment of the Chapter.  

What's involved?

Socialize at 4:00 pm EST with dinner and drinks; trivia will start promptly at 5:00 pm EST.  We will play 2-3 Rounds of 10 questions each and a prize for each round's winning team.  Trivia will be played in teams of 4-5 people. One team will be awarded per round, with a $5 Visa gift card for each team member.  At 7:00 pm EST, we will announce the winners of each raffle item. You do not have to be present to win a raffle prize.  All online raffle tickets will be added to the in-person raffle tickets.

Dinner will be a Taco Bar catered by Emerald Necklace Marina, and every Trivia participant will receive one drink ticket with their purchased event ticket (21 and older). This drink ticket is good for any 1-item from the Event Menu. Additional drinks can be purchased. Enjoy create-your-own tacos before settling in to play trivia!

The raffle will be a hybrid event.  Ticket sales will open virtually on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 8:00 am EST.  Sales will close online at 5:00 pm EST but may be purchased at the Trivia event until 6:30 pm EST. You can purchase raffle tickets at: https://go.eventgroovefundraising.com/59109d
