Bladder Health

Bladder health and management is a huge topic for us with SCI.  Many of us with SCI experience incontinence and frequent UTIs.

Maintaining bladder health is important to preventing incontinence and UTIs.  Practicing good hygiene, staying hydrated, and knowing what catheter to use are just some of the tips I give to maintain bladder health.

In today’s video, I give 5 tips to prevent a urinary tract infection and maintain bladder health. I also talk about the three types of catheters I use and when I use them.  My incontinence occurs when I am not able to empty my bladder quick enough.

SO!

I’ve come up with a system that works for me with different types of catheters. And until it doesn’t work for me anymore, I will continue to utilize these three types of catheters.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video.
